Your Access to Health and Safety Compliance

Prerequisite Health and Safety for all sub-contractors

We hereby request that the following be in place before work commences on any site.

  • Current letter of good-standing (from Workman’s Compensation or FEM)
  • Risk assessments for tasks (site specific)
  • Copies of appointments for the site
  • An agreement with mandatory 37(2) form
  • Toolbox talks (safety talks) to be carried out by yourselves for your employees on a weekly basis and these must be documented.
  • A list of all your electrical equipment and tools. These must have registers/checklists for them.
  • Inductions to be arranged (with CAM) for all employees on site as well as new employees.
  • Medicals for persons operating plant and persons working at heights.
  • Plant operators to also have in their possession a copy of their license and his certificate of competence.
  • Employer’s reporting of incident form, for the purpose of an injured employee needing medical attention (hospital or ambulance).
  • Copy of ID of all employees on site.
